Technical Issues

Toyota, Train to understand the instructional form of Theory and operation principles to the detail of how every step of operation in today’s Autos are designed to satisfy a customer’s request. The Principles, Theory of Operation, And Repair Guidance is what education is all about. The use of the technical training provided is the opportunity to ensure that the manufactures are instructing the Who, How and Don’ts of Automobile Diagnosis. The manufactures already proved they can design and produce, Some of the most sophisticated work and efforts in Automobile manufacturing and design, it is sometimes up to use to decide to keep and maintain. When malfunctions accrue it is a comfort for the manufacture, the customer and the technician to know and understand what is involved, what needs to be done to repair any glitches that accrue in order to maintain the satisfaction of properly operating and satisfying automobiles. I have choose to learn and get educated on all that I can referring to Automobiles and Automobiles computer systems, for the satisfaction that I have used my time here on earth to provide an educated technology of support for the vast exciting world of automobiles. I will choose to continue my education to keep up with the vast technical designs as well as help support the old and transfer to the new.

Performance Tuning Of the Old Point Style distributor, while the Engineers developed The new Direct Ignition System using Sensors Connectors and coils, For the Ignition System, that has allowed for a longer lasting Higher Performance System. Some are still utilizing the point system correct adjustment of point Gap and Dwell can be a Challenge, the Back Fire Syndrome is Notorious in a point System, Due to several possible factors involved. Malory and Mr. Gasket Have a Web Page with Diagnoses Symptoms of Ignition Failure, the most common problem with Points Is There condition and ability to stay in position, Point Systems have Factors of Centrifugal advance that use springs to return the Point Plate to the original position, these springs tend to break or get hot and loose its tension. Also Grounding is very important in the point systems a bad ground can cause excessive heating and melting of the points as well has abnormal burning of the points. The Point gap Is important for the primary circuit to match the firing of the secondary circuit at the specific time of the Piston cylinder to at the right designed completion of compression stroke, in which the primary circuit signals the coil to open the secondary circuit in which case the coil discharge High Voltage to the distributer through the rotor to the individual spark plug wire that then sends the high Voltage to the spark plug. Disruptions in the circuit have been known to be bad wires that leak spark to the block or other wire. Corrosion of the Cap terminals and crakes Problems of Pre-ignition, Backfiring can be due to any of the mechanical and vacuum advance component malfunction. Condition of cap and rotor, Condition of wires, more causes of Backfiring can Carbon build up in cylinders, hot spots on the piston, Crakes in the head, or valves. Bad valve sticking valves, pre-ignition, are all possible contributors to back firing. Consider how the Internal Combustion system works, The 1. Piston must first draw air and fuel solution Intake Stoke Exhausts valve closed and sealed intake valve open 2. After completing stroke reaching Bottom dead center the intake valve closes, and continues a completely sealed cylinder while the piston begins traveling up creating the compression stroke Known to be in the area of 70lbs to 210lbs depending on your system and your timing setting this compression stroke is met with the voltage from the secondary ignition circuit that creates a spark at the plug this spark ignites the compressed air fuel mixture at a specified time after top dead center say between six and ten this allows for the compressed air fuel mixture to explode while in the down position developing the power stroke. Then when the power stoke reaches the bottom dead center and starts to come back up then the exhaust valve opens while the piston complete its travel to the top again pushing all the combusted material out the exhaust port, preparing for another repeat of the same Intake, Combustion, Power, Exhaust. If there is a crack or bad seal when the explosion takes place the explosion will travel through the intake manifold igniting all the air fuel mixtures for the cylinders “You can imagine what that would be like”. Problems like a bad cap that allows the spark to travel to a cylinder that is in the middle of a intake stoke with the intake valve opens exploding the air fuel mixture that is not at the beginning of a power stoke. If the intake stoke draws exhaust through a bad exhaust valve or crack the exhaust is hot enough to ignite the air fuel Mixture before it is designed too.
